Gary Neville has revealed the three players he’d loveManchester Unitedto sign – and they’re all French!
The club legend took part in a Twitter Q&A on Tuesday morning and was quizzed over who he’d like to see come through the doors at Old Trafford.
Neville picked three players in three different positions – all of whom won theWorld Cupwith France in 2018 – choosingReal Madridcenter-back Raphael Varane,Chelseamidfield general N’Golo Kante and Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe.
Varane has long been linked with a move to Manchester and is thought to be a firm favorite of executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

The four-time Champions League winner was thought to be keen on a summer move away from the Santiago Bernabeu as he sought a new challenge but ultimately stayed in Madrid.
Mbappe, too, has been linked with an exit from PSG, although he is thought to be more likely to head to Real Madrid than the Premier League. Tipped as a future Ballon d’Or winner, he may be out of United’s reach in their current state.
Kante is also perhaps a fanciful signing. Although the Frenchman was rumored to be close to joining PSG in the summer, it’s highly unlikely Chelsea would sell to a Premier League rival.
