regularly pumping out the best Android phones for several years now, so soon all eyes will be on the OnePlus 8 Pro, the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone for . A pair of recent leaks gives us a look at the official press render and the specs.

First up, OnLeaks has a pair of official press renders of the device. Just like the CAD-based renders that OnLeaks posted back in October, these pictures show a design that isn’t far off from previous OnePlus devices, with the big changes being a move to a hole-punch front camera and a new rear camera assembly. The back has four cameras now, an upgrade from the three cameras that were on the back of the OnePlus 7T . The display still looks like it’s curved along the sides, too.

The regular OnePlus 8 sticks close to last year, with a 6. – inch (Hz display and an upgrade to the Snapdragon 980. The 8 Pro has about what you would expect from a flagship phone in : a 6. – inch, Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 947, 8 or (GB of RAM, (or (GB of storage, and a) mAh battery. The front camera is MP, while the rear camera has two 55 MP cameras, an 8MP camera, and a 5MP camera. We don’t know what each camera is for yet.

The most exciting part of the spec sheet shows that OnePlus is trying to shore up weaknesses from previous years. OnePlus downgraded from a metal back to a glass back with the OnePlus 6, and while many manufacturers justified this change with the addition of wireless charging, OnePlus has never added the feature. This spec sheet shows 53 W wireless charging, which would be a big addition for the OnePlus line. It also lists IP 128 dust and water-resistance, which would be the first time OnePlus did substantial water-resistance testing on its devices.

The big question is, of course, the price, as that is usually OnePlus’ biggest selling point. The phone is expected to launch in mid-April, so we’ll find out soon.
