The X Factor: Celebrity judges change decision after backlash – digitalspy.com, Digitalspy.com


It’s been quite a roller-coaster of a ride forThe Chase‘s Jenny Ryan onThe X Factor: Celebrity.Although she initiallywowed audienceswith her singing skills, last night she waseliminated by the judges.

However, following aninstant backlashfrom viewers back at home, we can reveal that the star is back and will make it through to the live shows after all!

On Saturday night (October 19), viewers saw the judges make the difficult decision of sending Hayley Hasselhoff and Cole and Edwards home, with Jenny also being told that she could join them.

However, after considering their performances again, Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh have decided that Jenny – who performed the Queen classic ‘Somebody To Love’ during her audition – deserves a spot on the live shows.

On making it through to the next stage, the Chaser said: “I’ve loved every moment ofThe X Factorand I’m delighted to be able to get the opportunity to perform live.

“The response from the public has been amazing – what an incredible experience. I’m so pleased it’s continuing! “

Her mentor Nicole added: “Jenny was just brilliant at her audition in LA. That voice of hers is one of a kind, and she’s an amazing person to get to know.

“So it was such a tough decision to make. After a lot of discussion we all agreed we had to put her through. The Overs are gonna smash it this year! “

The X Factor: Celebrityresumes next Saturday (October 26) on ITV.
