WWE 2K 20 launched earlier this week, and it’s such an oozing cesspit of problems that even Sony is issuing no-questions -asked refunds of digital PlayStation 4 copies of the game.
Sony Issuing WWE 2K 20 Refunds
Although receiving a refund greatly depends on the affable qualities of the customer service representative at hand, most have had no qualms getting Sony to reverse the payment.
Twitter is awash with examples of WWE 2K 20 players obtaining refunds based on being sold the game under ‘false pretenses’ and in a ‘broken’ state.

If you’ve missed all the fun, WWE 2K 20 is a complete disaster of a game. So much so that it spawned its own# FixWWE2K 20 hashtagwithin hours of release. The hashtag briefly trended on Twitter in the US on Tuesday.
Now, we aren’t talking about a few unfortunate glitches here and there – the game is fundamentally defective. From numerous game play glitches to graphics that have seemingly pulled straight from 2006 ‘s WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw, WWE 2K 20 has it all.

A Litany of Bugs and Glitches
Modes are missing, music is incorrectly listed, and sounds don’t match up to the onscreen action. Thelist goes on: wonky camera angles , missing props and scenery assets, botched animations, and crippling multiplayer lag.
To top it all off, WWE 2K 20 features some pretty disturbing visual bugs. Faces are absent from some character models, which although in keeping with Halloween festivities, are pulled straight out of some hellish nightmare.
Then, there’s this monstrosity, which we struggle to even describe.
In light of these issues, no wonder players are clamoring for refunds, and Sony is duly obliging.
Once again, 2K Games does what it does best – launching a half-finished game,much as it did with NBA 2K 20 last month.
