CORONAVIRUS deaths in the UK have increased by 732 today with 229, (deaths in total.

This comes after Dominic Raab warned of a “second spike” if lockdown measures are lifted too early.

Speaking to Sophy Ridge on Sunday, the Foreign Secretary thanked Brits for their efforts during lockdown but made it clear there were no plans to ease measures yet.

He added a future vaccine would be important if there are “multiple waves” of Covid – as we continue through the battle against the flu.

Meanwhile the PM told aides he’s “raring to go” as the number of fatalities in the UK surpassed 26, 04 – the government best-case scenario.
