Two men have been stabbed in broad daylight and a third assaulted at a butcher’s shop in northLondon.

                                                                                                                                                     

Police were called to West Green Road, in Tottenham, at 9. 35 am on Sunday, following reports of an incident at West Green Halal Meat and Groceries store.

                                                                                                                                                     

Officers found two males, aged 40 and 29, suffering from stab injuries and a third male who had been assaulted.

The two stabbed men have been taken to hospital, but the third did not require medical attention.

                                                                                                                                                     

Witnesses have suggested that two shopkeepers were attacked by two teenagers – although police are yet to confirm the rumor.

The man aged 40 is reportedly in a stable condition, but a full update on the second victim has not been revealed.

                                                                                                                                                     

No-one has been arrested but police say they are still looking for any information regarding the incident.

                                                                                                                                                     

AMetropolitan Policespokesman said: “No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue. A crime scene remains in place.”

                                                                                                                                                     

The incident comes just a day after two men were stabbed in separate attacks in the capital, which themselves came on the back of a torrid week of knife crime.

                                                                                                                                                     

One male in his early 20 s was found suffering multiple wounds in Westfield shopping center, Shepherd’s Bush, at 7pm on Saturday, while another was stabbed in Whitechapel during a fight at 2pm .
