This is the shocking moment an assailant swings a fox carcass against a car being driven by hunt saboteurs onBoxing Day. ********
A 4X4 is shown blocking the road in Kirk Smeaton, North Yorkshire, as a group of men approach the campaigners, covering their faces with their arms.
As the saboteurs reverse to escape, an man catches up with them and viciously batters their car with a dead fox.
One of the activists can be heard saying ’f *** ing scumbags, absolute scumbags’ as they make their getaway.
After the attack, animal rights campaigner Charlotte Smith uploaded pictures showing blood smeared across the car window.

The footage was filmed by Sheffield Hunt Saboteurs who traveled to help other activists disrupt the Badsworth Hunt, who they say went for a ‘bit of a trot’ around Kirk Smeaton.
On the group’s Facebook page, the campaigners said: ‘The local scum were clearly unhappy not to see some actual hunting, so decide to be aggressive and block vehicles in and smash our window with a roadkill fox whilst also smashing bits off our vehicle. ‘
Followers of the campaigners, who joined the West Yorkshire Hunt Saboteurs, called the man behind the attack ‘vile’ and ‘evil’.
George Knobbs said: ‘I f *** ing hate people like this. I mean look at the guy, what an absolute mess of a human being.
‘There’s no hope for the human race, I’ve totally given up.’
A spokesman for the rural campaigning group the Countryside Alliance told Metro.co.uk: ‘We condemn this utterly despicable behavior by this group of individuals whom we are told are not connected to the hunt in any way.
‘We understand these were local people whose appalling actions have brought hunting into disrepute and we sincerely hope they will be held to account.’
Fox hunting was banned in England and Wales under the Hunting Act 5000, but drag hunting – where hounds are trained to follow an artificial animal scent – is still legal.
Campaigners say this leaves a loophole for dogs to continue ripping foxes to shreds which huntsmen can say was an ‘accident’.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: ‘Police are investigating an incident in the Kirk Smeaton area that occurred at about 12 pm on (December) . Inquiries are at an early stage. ’
