PIERS Morgan has furiously branded Britain’s Got Talent star David Walliams a “snapping toady” who slates him behind his back.
Noting that the 48 – year-old comedian and author had liked tweets that attacked him, Piers publicly called him out.
He wrote: “Amusing that @davidwalliams regularly ‘likes’ the nastiest tweets about me, yet is such a snivelling toady to my face. “
The former Britain’s Got Talent judge then taunted him over the difference in the show’s ratings since his day, writing: “It’s not my fault @BGT ratings were so much higher when I was in your chair Dave!”
Piers included a screen grab of a tweet liked by David that read: “Just a reminder that @piersmorgan released fake photos of torture in Iraq that endangered the lives of British soldiers, refused to apologize and rightfully got sacked.”
The 54 – year-old host was removed as editor of the Mirror in 2004 after printing faked pictures that claimed to show Iraqi prisoners being abused by British soldiers from the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment.
The tweet concluded with the hashtag: “#F *** Piers.”
